NORTHEAST 

Region: New York

The Alliance for Clean Energy New York's mission is to promote the use of clean, renewable electricity technologies and energy efficiency in New York State in order to increase energy diversity and security, boost economic development, improve public health and reduce air pollution. 

Region: Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut

RENEW Northeast is a nonprofit association uniting the renewable energy industry and environmental interest groups. RENEW’s mission involves coordinating the ideas and resources of its members with the goal of promoting and increasing sustainable renewable energy in the Northeast. 

MID ATLANTIC

Region: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, District of Columbia

The Mid-Atlantic Renewable Energy Coalition (MAREC) is a nonprofit, Pennsylvania-based corporation joining wind developers, wind turbine manufacturers, service companies and nonprofit organizations dedicated to the growth of renewable energy technologies. MAREC works to improve and enhance the opportunities for renewable energy development in the nine jurisdictions in the Mid-Atlantic region. 

Region: New York

WEST

Region: California

The AWEA California Caucus (ACC) is the voice of the utility-scale wind industry in California. ACC's team develops and communicates strategic and technical advice to key decision-makers to ensure an affordable, reliable, and clean energy future for the State of California. 

Region: Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming

The Interwest Energy Alliance is a trade association that brings the nation's renewable energy industry together with the West's advocacy community. Interwest’s members support state-level public policies that harness the West's abundant “inexhaustible” renewable energy and energy efficiency resources. 

Region: Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho

With a focus on bringing new generation to the next generation, Renewable Northwest (RNW)’s mission is to promote the implementation of environmentally responsible renewable resources, such as wind, solar and geothermal, in the Northwest. 

MIDWEST-SOUTH

Region: Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana, New Mexico

The Advanced Power Alliance is the advanced power industry’s voice within the fourteen states of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) and Southwest Power Pool (SPP) systems: Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas and Wyoming.

MIDWEST 

Region: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin

Clean Grid Alliance's mission is to overcome the barriers to bringing wind energy to market. This includes better use of existing transmission, getting more transmission constructed, as well as a variety of public policy, siting and other issues. The nonprofit is comprised of wind developers, environmental organizations, tribal representatives, public interest groups, clean energy advocates, farm groups, and businesses providing goods and services to the wind industry. 

Region: Michigan

Wind Works Michigan's mission is to build understanding that wind projects are community assets that bring substantial economic, environmental and health benefits to the local communities and residents. They want to demonstrate that wind developers are committed to maintaining a dialogue, keeping communities informed, and responding to community concerns. Wind Works Michigan also helps the wind industry learn about and understand concerns from local communities and address issues in a manner that builds relationships, inspires confidence and enables consensus.

Region: Ohio

Northern Ohioans for Wind (NOW) is a grassroots organization that gives a voice to those who support renewable wind energy development in Northern Ohio.  Wind energy is driving new investment, creating jobs, and adding new tax revenue for communities across Northern Ohio counties.
