The wind industry is bringing jobs, economic investment, and clean energy across the country. Use the American Wind Energy Association's fact sheets to learn the top wind energy facts about each state. 

AWEA keeps up to date fact sheets on wind energy in all 50 states. Their information includes the number of wind projects in each state, how much energy is being generated, and the economic and environmental benefits that the wind energy projects provide. 

A Renewable America is a campaign working to educate the public on how renewable electricity is creating jobs, driving economic growth, and keeping costs low for business and residential consumers. They have state-specific economic reports, fact sheets, polling, and testimonial videos that demonstrate the widespread support for renewable electricity and its many benefits.

Wind Exchange is part of the Department of Energy's efforts to provide high-quality information such as maps of installed wind capacity, educational programs and other publications for stakeholders to understand industry best practices. They also have webinars and a bi-weekly newsletter which provides updates on new materials. 

The American Wind Wildlife Institute is a non-profit organization that focuses on the partnerships between the wind industry, science, environmental organizations and wildlife management agencies. They provide fact sheets, information, and links to the most current research on the impact that wind energy has on wildlife. 

The Business Council for Sustainable Energy (BCSE) issues an annual factbook that provides up-to-date, accurate market information about the broad range of industries — energy efficiency, natural gas and renewable energy— that are contributing to the country’s move towards cleaner energy production and more efficient energy usage.
